Why IGO Worldwide exists...

to fulfill our mandate

IGO Worldwide is the partnership of dedicated Global Partners and their loyal supporters that embraces these underlying objectives:

  • To glorify God and to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission
  • To promote greater interest in Missions
  • To foster long and short-term careers in Christian Ministry
  • To advocate prayer for and financial support of IGO ministries and projects
  • To encourage frequent and meaningful communication between our Team of Global Partners and their home churches, supporters and prayer warriors.

IGO Worldwide exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ through proclaiming the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by any means consistent with it.

IGO Worldwide values the experience, talent and heart of persons led to serve Jesus Christ, as well as the variety of effective, ethical ministry expressions suited to impact today’s world, therefore, IGO provides opportunity for people to pursue Kingdom values and results as they are enabled and equipped.

IGO Worldwide prayerfully strives to see every member flourish with his/her opportunity and role for the glory of God, therefore IGO works as a team of Global Partners, supporters, churches and board members.

to share our beliefs

IGO Worldwide believes...

  • the Bible to be the infallible Word of God, that it is His holy and inspired Word preserved for mankind’s benefit in each generation, and that it is the only, supreme and final authority for all of life;
  • in one God, eternally existing in three persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
  • that God created the universe and all that is in it, including the human race, out of nothing, and that He maintains its ongoing existence and operation by His sovereign providence;
  • that Jesus Christ was conceived without inherent sin by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father as our mediator and advocate;
  • that Christ rose bodily from the dead, physically ascended into heaven and is similarly returning soon to this earth as King of kings and Lord of lords;
  • that all men everywhere are alienated from God in their sinful nature, face the judgment of God and need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by repentance from sin and faith in Christ's shed blood on the cross;
  • that the Holy Spirit’s work of regeneration is necessary for spiritual life, that His indwelling presence is necessary for victory over temptation and sin, and that His filling is necessary for effective service in the Kingdom of God;
  • that the Holy Spirit’s ministry includes convicting mankind of sin, comforting Christians as they serve the Lord, and guiding believers in the truth;
  • that every Christian should identify with, serve in and be taught by a Biblical, local church as the visible expression of the Body of Christ;
  • in the responsibility of Christians and local churches, in particular, to spread the Gospel and disciple a new generation of believers to Christian maturity;
  • in using every ethical and biblically legitimate means to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide and apply it relative to specific cultures;
  • in holy Christian living, and that we must have concern for the hurts and social needs of our fellowmen as well as the salvation of souls;
  • and that we must dedicate ourselves anew to the service of our Lord and to His authority over our lives.
