Christ for Romania - December 2011 Update

Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Eph 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Dear Friends,
These verses are special, as they show the great apostle Paul asking prayer that he would be bold in opening his mouth to make known the gospel. Just today (which happens to be Romanian's version of July 4th, our National day) I printed up just a few of my sisters "Answer for Cancer" tract in Romanian. I hadn't been out for a while (will explain later) and was a little nervous to give out some of these tracts. I asked Andrea to pray for me to have boldness. God did give me boldness to hand them out. After that when I was in the mall to get some groceries, I was handed some of the most vile fliers. The Devil hands out tracts too. This worked to pour gasoline on our fires of zeal for the gospel. So often we get caught up with the simple comforts of life, but be sure, the devil takes no breaks. He is out there laboring zealously to lie, steal, kill, and destroy. May God grant us all more love and boldness for him to make known the gospel.
The reason I hadn't been out for a while is, that 2 weeks ago, I badly hurt my ankle running after a bus. I've was in a cast until just a few days ago. I needed to use crutches, and couldn't even go to work. Lord willing, I'll start back up on Monday. Please pray for my swift healing. It seems like our family needs a membership to at the Orthopedic office :). God was very gracious, and gave Andrea tremendous grace with all the extra trials. She certainly did a better job that I did when she was hurt.
We are hoping to have the 180 DVD with Romanian subtitles finished up soon and as God provides, hand out copies of it throughout the country. We have some other good ideas relating to the promotion of this in Romania, and ask your prayers for God's direction and blessing.
Prayer and praise:
- Pray for God to be glorified, His church beautiful, and the lost saved.
- Praise the Lord for the Answer for Cancer tract printed up in Romanian on our new printer and ink system. We are grateful to Ninel Lazer for his help in with the tract layout and Andrea for the translation.
- Praise God for blessing us with 4 years of very full blessed marriage which we celebrated in the end of November.
- Please pray for God's provision and blessing on the 180 video project. Please give special prayer for Cristi who is working on it. Please pray for God to save many souls and stop the wickedness of abortion.
- Praise God and please pray for our continued health, especially as we get into this colder weather. I ended up being hospitalized the last two winters in a row now.
- Please pray for God's will to be done and doors to be opened for us to have churches and individuals support us through IGO, as well as opportunities to preach and present.
- Please pray for God's protection, provision, and blessing on our marriage, family, and ministry.
