Bruce & Bonnie Robinson

Bruce and Bonnie Robinson have ministered in England since 1971 –– primarily in church planting. Their similar English backgrounds, plus meeting in England in 1965 while on a student missions' trip, led inevitably to their serving the Lord there. The Robinsons founded Wolverton Evangelical Church. Today it is a strong, growing and vibrant Christian fellowship.

Buckingham Evangelical Church, which they founded in 1990, is now influencing the community and is known as "the Bible church". Its programs include ministering to students at the University of Buckingham, which is comprised of 75% foreign nationals. It is commonplace to have 5 to 10 different nationalities attending their Bible studies and worship services. Many born-again students have returned to their home countries and now work in key governmental positions or in management of multinational corporations. The church has also made inroads into local life, including working with a community street-children's project.

In 1996 Bruce Robinson founded International Gospel Outreach and continues to serve as its Field Administrator. The Robinson's interest in other worldwide missions and cultures is further stimulated and fulfilled while serving in their role of advisor to fellow IGO missionaries.

ACTSent is the name of the Robinson's new ministry. It is not another mission board. ACTSent is simply a personal label attempting to portray Bruce's and Bonnie's firm belief in the biblical, simple, cultural approach to mission. ACTSent's vision was conceived to assist, consult, train and serve indigenous people of a new generation from their years of mission experience.
