So it’s good to be able to pass the blessing on to others. The children all made up and decorated shoeboxes with lots of fun toys, school suplies and toiletries for kids in poorer areas of Europe and Africa. We have also been collecting clothes to give to a church project that takes clothing and Bibles to Romanian families.
At our church cell group we’d like to be more outward looking and reach out to people outside our circle. It’s easy to become focused on our own lives, the busy-ness and problems, fears or insecurities we might have. But we know who we are in Christ and that we need to introduce others to Him!
Please also pray for our relationships with our neighbours as we build up friendships with them. We would like to invite several (more) of them for coffee.
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Col 3:17)
